Send tokens

Freighter offers a straightforward process for sending money, one of the core features of any wallet.

To get started, open Freighter and select the "Send" button. You can also select the token you would like to send from your balances, and then select the "Send" button within the token's details page.

Select the token you'd like to send if you didn't come from the token's details page, then provide the destination address. You can either paste an address you copied earlier, select one of the addresses you've previously sent to listed below the search bar, or scan a QR code.

Freighter is adding contacts lists. Soon, you will be able to manage your contacts, select them as destinations for payments, and see your contacts referenced in transaction history.

Enter the amount of the selected token you'd like to send. Alternatively, you can select the USD value displayed directly below to choose how much of the token you'd like to send denominated in USD.

You can optionally configure the transaction's settings, such as the inclusion fee and timeout period, by selecting the icon in the top right of the view.

Select "Review send" to review the transaction. You can also select "Transaction details" to view the transaction's parameters.

When you're ready to execute the transaction, select "Confirm". Freighter will send your transaction and wait for it to execute. Once it completes, you can select "View transaction" to view its details, and select "View on stellar.expert" to view the transaction on a block explorer.
