Import an existing wallet

Freighter supports importing a existing recover phrase rather than creating a new one. This may make sense if you use multiple wallet applications, or are migrating from another wallet.

Download Freighter

Freighter is available on mobile through the App Store and Play Store, and as a browser extension with Chrome and Firefox.

Import an existing recovery phrase

Open Freighter and select "I already have a wallet".

Choose and confirm a strong password.

Enter your existing recovery phrase. It can be 12 or 24 words.

Enable biometrics. This will streamline your login experience, enabling you to skip entering your password after being logged out.

Unlock your wallet using biometrics or your password.
